The AO Alliance Seminar—Management of Pediatric Musculoskeletal Infections provides a well-structured, evidence based and comprehensive guide which will serve as a great resource for clinicians in multiple disciplines managing pediatric musculoskeletal infections globally.

This seminar is targeted to senior Residents and Consultants dealing with acute and chronic Musculo-skeletal infections in their practice, and in the reconstructive procedures required for sequalae following infection in the growing skeleton
Seminar description
This seminar is an evidence-based, comprehensive review of the current concepts for the early diagnosis and management of pediatric musculoskeletal infections. The course structure provides didactic presentations, small group discussions between participants and faculty, and practical exercises to apply different techniques. This seminar will addresss
- The epidemiology, etiology and the pathogenesis of Pediatric Musculo- skeletal infection
- The treatment goals of managing acute bone and joint infection
- The management of chronic cases and the sequelae of bone and joint infection in childhood.
