Goal of the seminar

The AOA Seminar—Principles of Intramedullary Nailing is an instructional seminar with the objective to provide doctors and other health care workers with guidelines for basic nonoperative treatment of common fractures and to enable them to recognize those fractures that need operative treatment in a specialist unit.

Target audience

This seminar is targeted to any junior and middle-grade orthopedic resident involved in daily orthopedic trauma care and is interested in developing knowledge and skills in intramedullary nailing of fractures.
